Sample Testing & Analysis

IOS laboratories are equipped with high-end instruments such as High Resolution TEM, XRD, Atomic Force Microscope, Thermoanalytical Instruments and NMR. These complete research instruments for mechanical analysis, physical and spectroscopy are made available for all researchers from UiTM, other universities and also other industries. All equipment’s maintenance and operation are handled by certified staff and researchers to guarantee reliable analysis results.

Consultation & Supervision

IOS currently has researchers consisting of five professors, 13 senior researchers and young researchers who are passionate and actively involved in their respective research field. Fundamental science, nanoscience, nanotechnology, advanced materials, industrial science, radiation and astrophysics are the research fields running under IOS. The extensive research fields that IOS is covering makes it a one-stop centre for research instruments and consultation as well as post graduates supervision.

IOS always seeks opportunity to collaborate with industries in the enhancement of production and R&D since its establishment in 2015. Standing with the goal ‘Technology & Knowledge Transfer’, IOS also focuses to serve the public at its best.
