All students conducting laboratory activities, including synthesis, fabrication, experimentation, and testing, are required to read and understand the relevant laboratory safety guidelines and complete the required safety documentation before commencing laboratory work.

For laboratory use outside office hours or during public holidays, prior permission and approval from the Institute of Science are required.
